1. Substrate

- Bevel: < 0.5mm @ 45˚ typical

2. Reflectance

- 1st surface: R ≥ 99.5% at user specified wavelength

- 2nd surface: Anti-reflection coating, Rp ≤ 0.25%, Runp ≤ 0.75%, Rs ≤ 1.3% @ 45˚

3. Transmittance: Tave ≥ 90% for longer λ, Tave ≥ 85% for shorter λ

4. Angle of Incidence: 45˚

5. Damage Threshold: 1 MW/cm2, CW; 10 J/cm2, 20ns, 20Hz (for R); 4 J/cm2, 20ns, 20Hz (for T) @ 1064nm

 

High energy harmonic beamsplitters are similar to regular dichroic beamsplitters. They were specially designed to separate a primary wavelength and its harmonic wavelength from a laser. Spectral Products provides these harmonic beamsplitters for Nd:YAG and Ti:Sapphire laser systems. The 1st surface with a high energy dichroic coating reflects the target wavelength ≥ 99.5% and transmits other target wavelengths ≥ 90% for longer than the target reflecting wavelength or ≥ 85% for shorter than the target reflecting wavelength. The 2nd surface has a high energy anti-reflection coating for the target transmitting wavelength. If the beam size is small (< 3mm diameter) and minimal beam deviation is needed, our super thin plate could be a good solution.
